HOME STRETCH: UAH wraps up the regular season at home with a pair of Gulf South Conference matchups this week at Charger Park, beginning on Wednesday at 4 p.m. against Shorter prior to a Saturday matchup at 1 p.m. against Young Harris.

CELEBRATING A SENIOR: Prior to the game on Saturday, the UAH women's lacrosse program will honor senior Alanna Carvalho as she plays her final regular season home game for the Chargers.

POSTSEASON IMPLICATIONS: While all four slots in the GSC invitational have been locked up, no single seed for the single elimination tournament – held at the top seed's campus on April 27-29 – has been solidified. Young Harris starts the week in first in the GSC standings with a 6-0 conference record, followed by UAH in second at 5-1, Montevallo in third at 3-4 and Lee in fourth at 3-5.

RECENT ACTION: UAH won its fifth consecutive game with a 19-6 drubbing of Montevallo this past Friday at Charger Park, giving the Chargers an 11-3 overall record and a 5-1 record in conference play. The Chargers are now 4-0 this season when playing at home and 15-3 in the program's three-year history.

CONTINUED PRODUCTION: With two regular season games to go this season, junior Nicole Federovitch has posted a career-best 93 points from 57 goals and a career-high 36 assists in 2018, as she most recently totaled 15 points on six goals and a team-high nine assists in two games this past week. Federovitch's offensive prowess is one of the best in the nation, as she enters the week ranked in the top 15 nationally in both assists (36) and goals (57) while holding down a fourth-place ranking in NCAA Division II in total points (93).

BETWEEN THE PIPES: Leslie Allen Brown garnered her second GSC Defensive Player of the Week honor for her performance in a pair of GSC wins last week, holding the opposition to a 9.00 scoring average in addition to a .438 save percentage on 14 saves. This season, Brown leads the GSC with a 9.15 goals against average and is third in the league with a .415 save percentage.

SCORING POTENCY: The Chargers remain atop the nation in scoring offense with an average of 19.64 goals per game in 2018, led by Federovitch's team-high 57 goals. Federovitch is followed closely by Alanna Carvalho with 55 goals and Abbey O'Brien with 41 markers. In total, eight Chargers have scored 10 goals or more this season.

HAWKS PROFILE: Shorter enters the midweek matchup with a 0-9 overall record and a 0-7 mark in GSC play, following a 19-2 loss this past Friday against Lee. The Hawks offense is led by Audrey Geiger with 24 points on 21 goals and three assists, while Peyton Reid has played the full time in goal with a 20.67 goals against average and a .282 save percentage.

SERIES HISTORY: The Chargers hold a 6-0 all-time series record against the Hawks.
