-The scoring for the Chargers started in the bottom of the first as a triple from Booker plated Malone before Miller hit a sacrifice fly to right to score Booker and give the hosts an early 2-0 lead.
-The lead would triple for the Chargers in the second as the team scored four times with each of Wascavage, Booker, and Miller driving in a run, while another run scored on a Miles error.
-
Shannon Long then worked an eight-pitch at-bat before singling to left in the bottom of the third to score Hammonds, and Booker wrapped up the scoring for the Chargers in that frame as she had a two-run single to create the eventual 9-0 final.
