HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville baseball team opened a three-game Gulf South Conference series with a 7-0 win over West Alabama on Saturday evening at Charger Park. UAH improves to 21-15 (10-9 GSC), while UWA dips to 12-20 (6-12 GSC).

Jake Bracewell provided a masterful starting pitching performance for the Chargers, as the right-hander tossed a complete-game shutout with nine strikeouts to lead the Blue & White to the series-opening win.
