MEMPHIS, Tenn. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville volleyball team notched its ninth consecutive victory on Friday night at Christian Brothers with a 3-2 win (22-25, 25-21, 20-25, 25-20, 15-6) to open the road Gulf South Conference slate. UAH improves to 11-2 (2-0 GSC), while CBU dips to 6-7 (0-1 GSC).

- After going down 2-1 with a 25-20 loss in the third set, UAH proceeded to take the fourth and fifth frames by scores of 25-20 and 15-6, respectively, to notch the first conference road win.

- The UAH offense was paced by
Isabelle Barnes who led the attack with a team-high 14 kills and a .414 hitting percentage. Barnes additionally made a strong impact on defense, tying for the team lead in total blocks with five.
