HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville volleyball team notched a 3-0 win (25-23, 25-12, 26-24) over visiting Shorter at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall in a Gulf South Conference matchup on Saturday to wrap up the week's slate. UAH improves to 14-3 (4-1 GSC), while SU dips to 4-8 (1-4 GSC).

- After edging the Hawks 25-23 in the first, UAH extended its lead to 2-0 on a dominant 25-12 win in the second on the way to the three-set victory on Saturday.

- The Chargers utilized an early 4-0 run to break a 11-10 deficit in the first frame which helped the squad to a 25-22 win in the stanza.
- UAH opened the second set on a 14-5 run as the Chargers would take the frame 25-12 to push the match lead to 2-0.
- Shorter was able to tie the third set late at 24-24 before back-to-back kills by Sabrina Duncan and Caroline Sanford gave the Chargers the 26-24 set win and the 3-0 match victory.
