Box Score JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville stepped out of conference play on Saturday, falling 2-1 on the road at Carson-Newman. The Chargers slip to 4-4-1, while the Eagles improve to 6-1.
 
Turning Points
-After the teams played a scoreless first half, it was the visiting side who would get on the board first as Rafa Moreno scored in the 55th to put UAH up 1-0.
-The score remained that way until the 77th when Kensho Yoshikoshi tallied, and Carson-Newman wasted no time in going front by scoring again in the 79th as Ashley Kelynack tallied the game-winner.
 
Inside the Box Score
-UAH outshot the home side by a 17-14 clip for the contest, though C-N would hold a slim 6-5 edge in attempts that were on goal.
-Corners in the contest were even as both teams earned six.
-Moreno led the Chargers with six shots including a team-best three that were on goal.
-Ethan Wilson was responsible for the other two tries that were on frame.
-Myles Fullen made four stops in picking up the loss in goal for UAH.
 
Noteworthy
-After being held scoreless for two straight games, Moreno registers his eighth of the season. 
-Marten Nilop fired off four shots which represents a season-high for the sophomore.
-The rest of UAH's contests this season are Gulf South Conference affairs.
