No. 15 UWF Defeats UAH 2-0 Friday Night

HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's soccer team stumbled against visiting No. 15 West Florida on Friday evening, falling 2-0 at Charger Park. UAH drops to 4-6-1 (2-2-1 GSC), while the Argonauts improve to 9-1-1 (5-1-1 GSC).
 
Turning Points
-It appeared that the game would be scoreless at the halftime break, but UWF's Sean Hoffstatter would score in the 44th minute to put the Argos up 1-0 at the break.
-West Florida added to its advantage in the 77th when Teavon Spencer tallied to produce the eventual 2-0 final.
 
Inside the Box Score
-The guests established a 23-16 advantage in shots in the game including an 8-5 margin in shots on goal, and UWF also registered a 7-1 margin in corners.
-Each of Khalil Bell, Antonio Goncavles, and Rafa Moreno had three shots, with Bell putting a team-high two on target.
