Steven Gallagher scored in the second overtime period, lifting The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's soccer team to a 2-1 victory over Union in a contest that was played in a constant downpour on Friday afternoon. The Chargers improve to 5-7-1 (3-3-1 Gulf South Conference), while the Bulldogs slip to 6-6-0 (4-5-0 GSC).

Turning Points
-Union got on the board first thanks to an own goal, putting the Bulldogs ahead 1-0 in the 13th minute.
-The Chargers then leveled the contest in the 32nd when
Antonio Goncalves scored, and the game would remain 1-1 all the way through to the end of regulation.
-After a scoreless first stanza of overtime, UAH would end the contest in the 104th when
Michael Weston crossed it in from the right side to the six-yard box where Gallagher was there to bury it, sparking a raucous celebration and producing the 2-1 final.
