Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Chargers Drop 1-0 Contest at Lee on Sunday

CLEVELAND, Tenn. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's soccer team was tripped up on the road on Sunday, falling 1-0 to Lee. The Chargers slip to 6-8-2 (4-4-2 Gulf South Conference), while the Flames improve to 9-4-3 (5-3-2 GSC).
 
Turning Point
-The lone goal in the game came in the 31st minute as Samaan Williams scored what proved to be the eventual game-winner.
 
Inside the Box Score
-Lee held a slim 12-10 advantage in shots in the game, and the hosts also built up a 4-3 advantage in shots on goal.
-The Chargers were especially dangerous going forward in the second half, earning all six of their corners in the contest in the second 45 minutes, and UAH only conceded two corners to the Flames in the game.
-Rafa Moreno led the Blue and White with three attempts, while Alex Kinateder had a team-high two shots that were on target.
-Drew Kelly made three saves in the game in goal in taking the loss.
