ST. LEO, Fla. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's lacrosse team traveled to No. 9 Saint Leo on Saturday, falling 23-12 to the nationally-ranked Lions. UAH slips to 0-2 on the season while SLU starts the year at 1-0.

Luke LeVette had a big day offensively for the Chargers, scoring six times on 13 shots to lead UAH.

-The first quarter featured a ton of offense with the Lions scoring three times around LeVette's first goal of the game to make it 6-1 just under six minutes into the contest, and SLU would add six more goals and the Chargers four more to make it 12-5 at the end of the quarter.
-The teams combined for just three goals in the second including Zois scoring at the 8:44 mark, and the Lions carried a 14-6 lead into the halftime break.
-LeVette would score twice more in the third including the last goal of the quarter that made it a 19-9 game, and the junior added another pair in the fourth as the Lions outscored UAH just 4-3 in the final frame to create the 23-12 final.

-LeVette matches his season-high of six goals from last season, and the total is just one off his career-best of seven which he set in his freshman season.
-The goals for Deno are the first of his collegiate career.
-Ranta has scored twice in back-to-back games to open the year with four goals on the season.
