HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's tennis team opened up the spring portion of the schedule on Saturday, defeating visiting Martin Methodist 4-3. The Chargers improve to 1-1 on the year, while MMC slips to 0-2.

-Karolin Kirchtag trailed 1-4 in both sets of her singles match, but she recovered to win both by a 7-5 score, giving UAH its fourth point to clinch the victory.
