UAH Takes Wednesday Matchup 11-5 at Tusculum

GREENVILLE, Tenn. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville baseball team went on the road for an 11-5 victory over Tusculum on Wednesday afternoon in a nonconference tilt. UAH improves to 14-8, while TU dips to 15-10.
 
Game-Changer
- The Chargers offense put together a four-run rally in the second followed by a five-run eruption in the third, which helped UAH to an 11-5 nonconference victory on Wednesday.
 
Scoring Breakdown
- Following a scoreless first inning, UAH went on the board with four runs in the top of the second, as Brett Barbee, Malave Bettinger and Nolan Ramsey picked up RBI in the frame.
- The Chargers went on to extend the lead to 9-0 in the third inning, as the squad rallied for five runs highlighted by a two-RBI double by Garrett Bodine and a two-RBI single by Ramsey.
- Tusculum ended UAH's shutout bid with one run in the fourth, followed by a pair of runs in the fifth to cut the Chargers advantage to 9-3.
- UAH went on to score one run apiece in the seventh and ninth, while TU plated one run in both the seventh and eighth innings to bring the game to its 11-5 final score.

- UAH totaled eight base hits in the win, led by Colin Brewer who went 3-for-5 with a team-high three runs scored and one double.
- Ramsey finished the game with a team-high three RBI while going 1-for-2 at the plate with one walk.

- Dorien Jenkins led the Chargers with three walks against the Pionees, as UAH totaled seven walks as a team.
