HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville baseball team completed the program's first series sweep of Valdosta State since the 2014 campaign with a come-from-behind 10-5 victory on Sunday afternoon at Charger Park. UAH improves to 17-11 (8-6 GSC), while VSU dips to 14-16 (4-10 GSC).

- After three runs by the Chargers in the bottom of the seventh cut the Blazers lead to 5-4, UAH erupted for a six-run bottom of the eighth as the squad went on to win the contest by 10-5.

Palmer Ford led the Chargers offense with a 2-for-5 performance with a team-high four runs scored, as he delivered a pair of clutch two-RBI singles in the contest.

Scoring Breakdown
- Valdosta State took the first lead with one run in the first, before UAH knotted the game at 1-1 in the second as Bettinger scored on an error.
- The Blazers regained the lead in the third with one run and went on to take a 5-1 advantage with a trio of runs in the top of the sixth.
- The Chargers added three runs in the seventh, highlighted by a two-run single up the middle by Ford, to slim the deficit to 5-4.
- UAH went on to send 12 batters to the plate in the bottom of the eighth in a six-run rally to elevate the Blue & White to a 10-5 victory.
