YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's lacrosse team closed out the 2019 campaign on a high note, winning its third straight and knocking off an opponent it had never beaten before in winning 10-8 at Young Harris. The Chargers finish the year at 4-8 (2-4 GLVC), while YHC ends the season at 6-7 (2-4 GLVC).

-With the game tied at 7-7,
Jacob Glen,
Josh Campbell, and
Caleb Merrow combined to score three straight for the Chargers, putting the guests ahead by an insurmountable margin with just 3:12 left in the game.

-The hosts scored the first goal, and that score would be the only tally of the first quarter.
-At the 9:24 mark of the second quarter, Zois leveled the contest, and though YHC would have an answer just over a minute later, Glen would score before Looby added a man-up goal to give the Chargers a 3-2 lead at the half.
-The Mountain Lions regained the advantage by scoring the first two tallies of the third quarter before LeVette momentarily tied the game at 4-4 with 4:54 on the clock.
-It took less than 20 seconds for the hosts to have an answer, but Zois would add his second just under a minute later with 3:47 remaining, creating a 5-5 tie with three quarters in the books.
-Stuber scored a man-up goal just over a minute into the fourth, and Phillips quickly made it 7-5 lead for the Chargers when he scored with 13:04 left in the game.
-Rapid goals from Young Harris at 7:03 and 6:23 knotted the contest back up at 7-7, but Glen put the Chargers ahead for good with his strike with 5:15 remaining.
-Campbell then scored at the 4:08 mark, and Merrow iced the contest with 3:12 left before the hosts added a late goal to create the 10-8 final.
