HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville volleyball team wrapped up play in the UAH Invitational, presented by the Huntsville Sports Commission, with a 3-1 win over Harding and a 3-0 victory against Trevecca Nazarene on Saturday at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall. UAH is now 4-0 on the season.

-The Chargers will be back in action on Friday when the team opens play in the Charger Classic, presented by the Huntsville Sports Commission, with an 11 a.m. contest against Lynn.

-With the match evened at 1-1, UAH went ahead in the third set on a 25-21 victory before outlasting Harding 26-24 in the fourth frame for the 3-1 victory.

Abby Brooks led the UAH offensive effort as she totaled 13 kills to go along with a team-best 15 digs as she recorded a double-double, while
Isabelle Barnes swung at a strong .400 clip with 10 kills and just two errors on 20 attacks.

Molly Presnell.
-Two other Chargers had double-doubles in the contest as
Sabrina Duncan notched a game-best 32 assists to go along with 10 digs, while

-Though Harding would outhit the Chargers by a .198 to .166 clip, it was UAH who was stronger defensively by collecting 87 digs to Harding's 76.

-The 87 digs are the most for UAH since the team had 91 on Oct. 6 of last season against West Alabama.
-Presnell and Duncan recorded double-doubles in consecutive games.

-After taking an early match lead in the first, the Chargers offense dominated in the 25-19 win in the second set with 16 kills on a team .387 hitting percentage on the way to the 3-0 victory on Saturday.
