HUNTSVILLE | The Gulf South Conference announced its weekly award winners for men's tennis on Wednesday, and it was a clean sweep for The University of Alabama in Huntsville as
Sebastian Rohrbach was named the GSC Men's Tennis Player of the Week while
Aaron Osmond was honored as the GSC Men's Tennis Freshman of the Week.

The two represent UAH's first weekly award winners of the 2020 season.

In helping the Chargers go 2-0 last weekend, Rohrbach was undefeated both in singles and doubles play.

Playing at the top position, the junior only surrendered three games to his opponents in singles, winning 6-0, 6-1 against Bellarmine before picking up a 6-1, 6-1 win over Martin Methodist. Rohrbach also played at the top spot in doubles, teaming up with
James Caddies for a 6-2 win over Bellarmine and a 6-1 victory over Martin Methodist.

Osmond also picked up a pair of wins in singles action as he moved to 3-0 to start his spring collegiate career. Against Bellarmine, he played at the fifth position and was a 6-3, 6-2 winner, while he was victorious by a 6-3, 6-4 score against his Martin Methodist opponent.

The two will be back in action on Friday when the team jumps back into GSC play with a visit to Christian Brothers. That match is slated for a 3 p.m. start.
