HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's tennis team picked up a 4-3 victory over Division I member UT Martin on Friday afternoon at the UAH Tennis Complex. The Chargers improve to 2-4, while the Skyhawks fall to 1-8.

-This is UAH's first win over a Division I opponent since April 4, 2017, when the Chargers beat Alabama A&M 5-2.
-Kirchtag improves her win streak to four matches and moves to 4-2 in singles play which matches Thomas for the best mark on the squad.
-Thomas is now 2-0 on the season in three-set matches.
-Thomas clinched the match with her three-set victory.
-Thomas and Mehlich are now 5-1 on the season in doubles after winning their fifth straight, and they have surrendered three or fewer games in four contests.
-Polakovic and Porter Lucas have won two of their last three in doubles.
