HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville volleyball team picked up its seventh straight victory on Saturday afternoon at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall with a 3-0 win (25-20, 25-19, 25-13) over Lee in Gulf South Conference action. UAH improves to 10-4 (4-0 GSC), while LU slips to 4-8 (2-2 GSC).

Molly Presnell had an outstanding overall performance for the Chargers on Saturday, as she notched a double-double with a team-high 17 kills on a .359 hitting percentage to go along with 11 digs.

Kendall Scharbert also helped guide the Chargers attack with 13 kills on a roster-best .550 hitting percentage, followed by
Paris Morris with seven kills on the day.

Shayla Libby anchored the Blue & White's defense with 22 digs, in addition to five assists and two service aces, as
Gracie McGee ranked second on the squad with 19 digs.

Sabrina Duncan nearly notched a double-double against the Flames with a team-high 34 assists as well as eight digs. Duncan also had a team-best three service aces.

The Chargers hit .222 for the match – including a .310 swing rate in the third set – while limiting the Flames to a .126 hitting percentage overall on Saturday.

UAH started off Saturday's match with a 25-20 win in the first, as the Chargers were able to build a cushion midway through the frame with a 6-0 run.

The Flames made a late push in the third as UAH held on for a 25-19 win to extend the match lead, before the Chargers cruised through the third with a match-sealing 25-13 win.

UAH is back at home on Tuesday at 6 p.m. against nationally-ranked West Florida.
