HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's basketball team cruised to a 97-46 victory over visiting Milligan on Monday night at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall in nonconference action. UAH improves to 7-2, while MU slides to 0-7.

The Chargers offense featured a total of five players scoring in double-figures in the rout of the Buffaloes, as
CJ Williamson paced the Blue & White with a game-high 17 points. He shot 8-for-9 from the field overall while additionally notching six rebounds, four assists and two steals for a strong all-around performance.

Chaney Johnson ranked second on the day with 13 points, followed by
Auston Leslie with 11 and
Luke Burnett and
Sutton Smith with 10 apiece.

UAH amassed 30 assists in the victory, led by
Max Shulman's team-high six helpers. Nine different Chargers had at least one assist in the contest, with seven of those players recording three or more.

Overall in the game, the Chargers shot 48.7 percent from the field (38-78) and 36.8 percent on three-pointers (14-38) while limiting Milligan to 35.2 percent on field goals (19-54).

UAH would lead by as many as 30 points in the first half as the Chargers went on a 44-16 in the last 15 minutes of the first half to have a commanding 50-23 advantage at the break. The Chargers did not take their foot off the gas in the second half, outpacing the Buffaloes 47-23 in the frame for the 97-46 victory.
