MARQUETTE, Mich. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville hockey team fell to Northern Michigan on Wednesday night by a final score of 8-2 to wrap up the two-game Western Collegiate Hockey Association series. UAH dips to 3-10-1 (3-5-0 WCHA), while NMU improves to 8-12-0 (6-4-0 WCHA).

-Northern Michigan opened the game with four goals in the first period as the Wildcats went on to win on Wednesday by a score of 8-2.

Scoring Breakdown
-The Wildcats four first-period goals came at 4:36 by AJ Vanderbeck, 5:28 by Mikey Colella, 7:12 by Vanderbeck again, and 17:59 by Griffin Loughran to put the hosts ahead 4-0 heading into first intermission.
-NMU added two goals in the second period by Michael Van Unen at 6:16 and Brandon Schultz at 10:48 to extend the lead to 6-0.
