UAH Cruises Past Lander on Senior Day

HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's lacrosse team wrapped up the 2021 regular season at Charger Park on Sunday afternoon with a 19-7 win over Lander in Gulf South Conference action. UAH improves to 10-3 (3-1 GSC), while LU dips to 3-7 (0-4 GSC).

-The Chargers look ahead to the start of the 2021 Gulf South Conference Invitational Tournament on Wednesday at Charger Park as the No. 2 seed against third-seeded Montevallo.

-UAH started off the contest with 10 unanswered goals as the Chargers did not look back in the 19-7 victory on Sunday.

-Hailey Gallant led the Chargers roster with nine points on four goals and five assists in addition to a team-high seven ground balls.
-Katie Gerber tied with Gallant for the team lead in assists with five helpers to go along with one goal for six points.
-Gerber additionally had a roster-best three caused turnovers and 12 draw controls.
-Katie Williams scored a team-best five goals, followed by Gallant and Sarah Farley with four markers apiece.
