Keiser Hurls Complete-Game Shutout in Series Finale at Delta State

CLEVELAND, Miss. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville baseball team wrapped up the three-game Gulf South Conference series at Delta State with a 5-0 victory on Sunday afternoon. UAH improves to 16-15 (14-13 GSC), while DSU dips to 22-14 (19-13 GSC).
 
Game-Changer
-UAH starting pitcher Kody Keiser went the distance with a complete-game shutout of Delta State, as the left-hander worked 9.0 innings with two hits allowed to lead the Chargers to the series-clinching 5-0 win on Sunday.
 
Inside the Box Score
-Keiser struck out five and walked two over his 9.0 innings on the mound, while not allowing an extra-base hit on Sunday. He improves to 2-2 with the win.
-The Chargers recorded 10 base hits as a team, paced by Brett Barbee who went 3-for-3 with two doubles, one walk, one run and one RBI.
-Carson Villalta and John Trousdale both had two doubles in four trips to the plate, with Villalta also notching one run and one RBI.
-Zach Duvall hit a solo home run in the sixth, as he went 2-for-4 with a team-high two runs and one RBI.
