MOBILE, Ala. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's soccer team dropped its conference opener on Sunday, falling 4-0 at Spring Hill. The Chargers fall to 1-2-1 (0-1-0 Gulf South Conference), while the Badgers improve to 4-2-0 (1-0-0 GSC).

The Badgers took a 1-0 lead in the 30th minute, and that scoreline would last through the halftime break. Then in the 66th and 67th, SHC tallied a pair before rounding out the scoring in the 82nd.

UAH outshot the hosts in the game by a 12-9 margin, though shots on target were even at 5-5, and the Chargers also earned 10 corners compared to Spring Hill's three.

Three of the Blue and White's shots on goal came after Spring Hill scored its third.

Shalev Keter paced the Chargers with four shots including two that were on frame, and he has now fired off a team-high 10 attempts on the season.Â

There were a combined 28 fouls in the contest, and the referee went to his book on three occasions.Â

UAH will now turn its attention down Interstate 10 to West Florida as the two teams will meet on Tuesday evening in Pensacola. Kick-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
