MONTGOMERY, Ala. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville volleyball team wrapped up its road trip with a 3-1 win (17-25, 25-18, 26-24, 25-13) at Auburn Montgomery on Saturday afternoon. UAH improves to 7-10 (3-3 GSC), while AUM slides to 9-9 (3-3 GSC).

Freshman
Caroline Moyer notched a team-high 10 kills in the win, followed by
Zharia Hubbard with nine kills on the day.

Hubbard was additionally active defensively with six digs and a roster-leading five total blocks.

Shayla Libby had a sensational performance for the Chargers with a team-best 28 digs and seven service aces. Overall, UAH recorded 12 service aces as a team against AUM.

UAH's defensive effort featured a total of four players with 10 or more digs including Libby's 28,
Tatiana Bonilla and
Gracie McGee with 15, and
Hailey Holshouser with 11.

The Warhawks went ahead early in the match with a 25-17 win in the opening set, but the Chargers rebounded in the second stanza with a 25-18 win thanks to a key nine-point run that gave UAH the lead for good.

UAH came from behind to take the third set 26-24 after scoring each of the final four points in the frame, and the squad would carry that momentum to a 25-13 win in the fourth to seal the four-set win on Saturday.

This was the UAH volleyball program's ninth consecutive win over AUM.

The Chargers are back at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall for three matches next week including nationally-ranked West Florida on Tuesday, Christian Brothers on Friday and Union on Saturday.
