HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's soccer team defeated West Alabama by a score of 2-1 on Saturday night at Charger Park in nonconference action. UAH improves to 3-8-3, while UWA dips to 5-3-5.

The Chargers took the first lead of the contest in the 11th minute as
Colby Nesbit rocketed a shot past the Tigers goalie after back-to-back passes from
Shalev Keter and
Michael Weston in the box.

Nesbit's goal was his first of the season, and Keter and Weston both collected their first assists of 2022. Nesbit additionally becomes the 10th Charger to score a goal this season.

After taking a 1-0 advantage into halftime, UAH added to its lead in the 62nd minute as
Andreas Tsimon smashed in a goal from 15 yards out. Tsimon's tally was his second of the season.
