HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville volleyball team cruised through Friday night's matchup against Christian Brothers by a score of 3-0 (25-14, 25-16, 25-15) at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall in Gulf South Conference action. UAH improves to 8-11 (4-4 GSC), while CBU slides to 3-11 (2-6 GSC).

Paris Morris led the Chargers attack with nine kills on a .500 hitting percentage, followed by
Ally Kennis, who tied with Morris with a team-high .500 swing rate, with nine successful swats.

Overall, seven UAH players had at least two kills in the matchup with Christian Brothers.

Kennis was also active defensively with a team-best four total blocks, including two solo blocks.

Tatiana Bonilla paced UAH's defensive effort with 14 digs, as she was joined in double-digit digs by
Hailey Holshouser with 12 and
Laekyn Bennett with 10.

Bennett recorded a double-double in the win with 12 assists to go along with her 10 scoops.

Savannah Rutledge generated a team-high 19 assists while adding seven digs on the defensive end.

UAH's offense started out with an incredible attacking performance in the first set with a team .471 hitting percentage on 18 kills as the Chargers won the frame 25-14.

The Chargers put together another strong offensive effort in the second set with a .296 team swing rate for a 25-16 win in the frame, before wrapping up the straight set victory with a 25-15 win in the third.
