ANDERSON, S.C. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville volleyball team wrapped up the week's slate with a 3-1 loss (16-25, 25-23, 16-25, 8-25) to Anderson on Saturday in nonconference action. UAH slides to 4-3, while AU improves to 7-1.

The Chargers offense was led by
Kiara Hill and
Gracie McGee with eight kills apiece, with Hill boasting a team-high .250 hitting percentage for the match.

McGee was also successful on the defensive end with 12 digs, as she rated second on the team to
Shayla Libby's team-high 18 scoops.

Zharia Hubbard had a stellar defensive performance with a roster-leading six total blocks to go along with six kills on offense.

Colby Charland helped guide the offense with a team-best 29 assists in addition to seven digs. Overall, five Chargers had five or more digs against the Trojans.

After Anderson opened the match with a 25-16 win over UAH, the Chargers bounced back to edge the Trojans 25-23 in the second thanks to a three-point run at the end to win it.

AU regained control of the contest with another 25-16 win in the third before taking the fourth 25-8 for the four-set win.

UAH is on the road again next weekend at the Harding Invitational, where the Chargers will take on East Central on Friday followed by matchups against Ouachita Baptist and Harding on Saturday.
