MONTGOMERY, Ala. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's basketball team dropped Saturday's matchup at Auburn Montgomery by a final score of 83-78 on Saturday afternoon in Gulf South Conference action. UAH slides to 14-5 (9-4 GSC), while AUM improves to 8-9 (6-7 GSC).

The Chargers offense featured four players with 10 points or more on Saturday, led by
CJ Williamson's 16 points on 5-of-8 shooting that included a perfect 2-for-2 on three-pointers. Williamson additionally tied with
Jack Kostel for the team lead in assists with three.

Williamson was one of four UAH players with at least two three-pointers made, as UAH shot 38.9 percent (14-36) from beyond the arc for the contest.

Chaney Johnson rated second on the roster with 15 points on 6-of-11 shooting from the floor to go along with three rebounds and one assist.

Max Shulman and
Luke Burnett rounded out the Chargers in double-figures with 14 points and 11 points, respectively.

Dalton Dodd guided UAH on the boards with a team-leading six rebounds.

The Chargers led by as much as 12 points in the first half, before a run by the Warhawks over the last eight minutes of the frame helped the hosts to a 42-39 advantage at the break.

The lead changed hands seven times over the second half, and UAH held the advantage at 75-73 with 3:55 remaining after Shulman's fourth made three-pointer of the afternoon.

However, AUM outscored UAH 10-3 over the remainder of the contest to win 83-78 on Saturday.

UAH looks ahead to two home games next week, as the Chargers host Montevallo on Wednesday and West Alabama on Saturday.
