TUSCALOOSA, Ala. | The UAH women's basketball team fell at Alabama in an exhibition matchup on Wednesday evening by a final score of 82-32 at Coleman Coliseum.

Bellah Machen led the Chargers with 10 points and five rebounds over 23 minutes on the floor. Fellow sophomore
Andie Flatgard played a team-high 30 minutes for UAH.

Wednesday's matchup between UAH and Alabama marks the sixth all-time meeting between the two programs and the most recent since Jan. 9, 1986.

The Chargers open the 2023-24 campaign at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall next Friday and Saturday hosting the
GSC-SSC Crossover, presented by the Huntsville Sports Commission. The two-day crossover features four games, including UAH's matchups against Florida Southern and Tampa.

This is the first of UAH's three exhibitions against NCAA Division I opponents, as the Chargers will also play at Jacksonville State on Nov. 17 and at Alabama A&M on Nov. 21.
