HUNTSVILLE | The UAH men's basketball team returns to Kelly Court at Spragins Hall for two weekend Gulf South Conference games with matchups against Delta State on Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Mississippi College on Sunday at 4 p.m.

UAH enters the weekend slate with a 6-3 overall record and a 4-1 GSC record, after sweeping both road games last weekend at Lee on Friday and Shorter on Sunday. The Chargers scored 80-plus points in both contests, as the team has now registered 80 points or more in eight out of the first nine games of the season.

The Chargers offense ranks second in the GSC with 85.7 points per game through nine contests this season, led by
Luke Burnett at seventh in the conference at 18.0 points per game. Burnett has again been one of the top three-point shooters in the GSC, ranking first in the league with 36 made three-pointers and third with a 45.0 three-point percentage.

Tommy Murr – a native of Athens, Alabama – has also been an offensive sparkplug with an average of 17.4 points per game, buoyed by his league-leading 91.7 free throw percentage. He has made the third-most free throws in the GSC as well with 55.

Delta State enters Friday's game with a 7-2 overall record and a 5-1 mark in GSC play, following a 97-77 win over Montevallo at home on Sunday. The Statesmen average 84.2 points per game, led by Keithean Brooks at 19.7 points per game.

Mississippi College starts out the weekend with a 5-4 overall record and 4-2 in GSC play, after most recently topping Auburn Montgomery on Sunday at home by a score of 65-61. The Choctaws average 69.8 points per game, guided by Rashad Bolden with 23.2 points per contest.

UAH holds all-time series records of 26-22 against DSU and 14-7 against MC.

After this weekend's games, the Chargers are away from action until Saturday, Dec. 30 when UAH welcomes West Georgia to Spragins Hall for a 4 p.m. tip-off.
