JACKSON, Tenn. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's basketball team was tripped up on the road at No. 15 Union by a final score of 71-45 on Thursday evening in Gulf South Conference action. UAH slides to 7-18 (7-14 GSC), while UU improves to 20-3 (18-3 GSC).
 
Haley Nichols notched her eighth double-double of the 2022-23 season, as she led the Chargers with 21 points and 11 rebounds against the Bulldogs. Nichols went 8-for-14 from the floor in the contest.
 
Freshman 
Haelim Adle played a team-high 39 minutes on Thursday, while posting a team-high three assists to go along with eight rebounds and six points.
 
Jesse Jennings rated second on the offense with 11 points in 25 minutes on the floor, with the sophomore going 5-for-7 on field goals. Jennings additionally ranked third on the team with five rebounds.
 
UAH's strength in the matchup was on the boards as the Chargers outrebounded the Bulldogs 37-20 on Thursday. The Chargers have now recorded 35 or more rebounds in three straight games.
 
The Chargers continue their road swing at Christian Brothers on Saturday at 1 p.m.
