HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's lacrosse team continues its week's slate with a visit from Tusculum for a 3 p.m. matchup on Saturday at Charger Park in nonconference action.
Admission for this weekend's game -- and every regular season home game -- is free again this season courtesy of Alabama Credit Union.

The UAH women's lacrosse team will celebrate mental health awareness with its Green Out Game as part of Saturday's game.

The Chargers enter Saturday's contest with a 1-2 overall record, after picking up their first win of the season on Wednesday at Rhodes by a final score of 11-10.
Isadora Springer led UAH in the contest with four points on three goals and one assist.

Springer now owns seven points from six goals and one assist, as she is tied for the team lead on offense with
Chloe Wood who has seven goals in 2023.

Katie Gerber has been the Chargers strongest all-around performer with three goals and one assist, while leading the team with four caused turnovers and seven draw controls. In her career, Gerber has 283 draw controls which are the most in program history.

Tusculum heads into the nonconference tilt with a 1-1 overall record, following a 15-7 win over Charleston on Saturday. The Pioneers offense is led by Tia Daniel's 10 points on seven goals and three assists, while Kari Ham has played the majority of time in goal for TU with a 13.03 goals against average and .308 save percentage.

Saturday's game against Tusculum will be the first-ever meeting between the two programs.

After this weekend's matchup, UAH hits the road to Limestone next Friday.
