HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville wrapped up its 2022-23 season with a 72-62 loss to visiting Valdosta State on Saturday afternoon at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall in Gulf South Conference action. UAH ends its campaign at 8-20 (8-16 GSC), while VSU improves to 21-5 (20-5 GSC).

Jesse Jennings guided the UAH offense in the season finale with a team-high 23 points to go along with three rebounds and one steal. She went 5-for-10 from the field and 12-of-13 from the free throw line, while playing a team-high 35 minutes.

Haley Nichols had a strong all-around performance for the Blue & White with 19 points and a team-high eight rebounds, as she went a stellar 9-for-11 from the field in 21 minutes of action.

UAH shot 42.0 percent from the field (21-50) overall in the matchup with Valdosta State.
