HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's lacrosse team picked up a determined victory in nonconference action at Charger Park on Sunday over Davenport by a final score of 9-6. UAH improves to 3-2, while DU slides to 1-3.

Sophomore
Pete Fabrizio led the Chargers offense with a career-high six points on four goals and two assists. Fabrizio is up to 10 goals on the season which is the top mark thus far for the Blue & White. He also paced the UAH roster with a team-best eight ground balls in the contest.

Kyle Light recorded a hat trick in the game with three goals and also recorded an assist for four points while
Reid Vender and
Nate Burt both added one goal to round out the goal scorers for UAH.Â

Defensively
Collin Galinski and
Ian Arnt each generated four caused turnovers while the Chargers caused 17 as a unit. Galinski registered six ground balls and
Brody Phillips picked up five in the matchup.

Max Keller played the full time in goal for the Chargers with a career-high nine saves on the afternoon. His season record moves to 1-0.

UAH will continue the season with a trip to Greeneville, Tenn. for a matchup with Tusculum on Friday at 1 p.m. CT.
