SALISBURY, N.C. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's lacrosse team cruised past Catawba by a final score of 18-2 on Sunday afternoon in nonconference action. UAH improves to 3-3, while CC slides to 1-3.

Katie Williams led the Chargers offense with four goals scored in the rout of Catawba, and she was tied for the team lead in points with
Katie Gerber who posted three goals and one assist.

Isadora Springer also scored three goals on Sunday, with
Sarah Cole also recording three points with two goals and one assist.

The Chargers registered 27 ground balls in the contest, led by
Riley Kirby with a team-high five pickups. Gerber and Springer rated second on the team with three ground balls apiece.

Tori Ryan and
Shaina Doser split time in goal for the Chargers on Sunday, with Ryan recording a team-high four saves as both allowed one goal in their time in the cage.

UAH went 18-for-20 on clear attempts in the contest, as the Chargers held the edge over CC in ground balls (27-19) and shots (32-10).
The Chargers are back at home next Sunday for a 12 p.m. game against visiting Florida Southern.
