HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's lacrosse team fell to No. 3 Florida Southern on Sunday afternoon by a final score of 20-14 in nonconference action at Charger Park. UAH slides to 3-4, while FSC improves to 5-0.

Chloe Wood led the Chargers offense in the Sunday matchup with four goals to go along with a team-high three ground balls and two caused turnovers. She additionally generated four draw controls.

Sarah Cole had a strong all-around performance against the Moccasins as well, posting three goals and a roster-best nine draw controls.

Isadora Springer tied with Cole for second on the roster with three points on two goals and one assist, with
Katie Williams (1g-1a) and
Maya Bronson (2g-0a) giving the Chargers five players with multi-point performances.

Tori Ryan played the majority of time in goal for the Chargers with four saves and 15 goals allowed in 39-plus minutes of work.
Shaina Doser also saw action in the cage for 20 minutes with two saves and five goals allowed.

The Chargers are back in action next Friday at 6 p.m. at Charger Park with a visit from another Sunshine State Conference opponent in Saint Leo.
