HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's lacrosse team won its fourth straight game with a thrilling 14-13 victory over visiting Maryville at Charger Park on a soggy Sunday afternoon. UAH improves to 6-2, while MU slides to 3-3.

Both teams would score six goals apiece in the second half to force an overtime tied at 13-13, before
Brody Phillips charged down the field to score the game-winner with 1:53 remaining in overtime.

Phillips posted a team-high four goals in the contest, as a total of eight different Chargers scored at least one goal on Sunday against the Saints. He now has a roster-leading 14 goals in 2023.

Pete Fabrizio guided the Chargers offense overall on Sunday with a team-best five points on one goal and four assists while also leading the squad with four ground balls.

Kyle Light tied for second on the roster with four points on three goals and one assist, while
Reid Vender (2g-0a),
Ian Arnt (1g-1a) and
Greyson Stevens (1g-1a) each had two points on the day.

Max Keller picked up the win in goal to improve to 4-0 this season, as he picked up nine saves in the victory.

UAH also held the edge over Maryville in ground balls (32-22) and face-off wins (15-13).

The Chargers are back at Charger Park on Tuesday with a nonconference tilt against Rockhurst at 5:30 p.m.
