HARROGATE, Tenn. | The No. 7 University of Alabama in Huntsville softball team won twice on Tuesday with a pair of 3-2 victories at Lincoln Memorial on Tuesday in nonconference action. UAH improves to 23-4, while LMU slides to 22-15.

UAH looks ahead to a three-game Gulf South Conference series at Charger Park this weekend against West Alabama. Saturday's doubleheader at 1 p.m. and Sunday's 12 p.m. single game.

Lila Young led the Chargers with two RBI in the opening midweek 3-2 victory over the Railsplitters, as she notched a sac fly in the fourth and a RBI double in the sixth.

Megan Shurtz went the distance for UAH with 7.0 innings pitched to go along with two earned runs, one walk and eight strikeouts.

The Chargers came from behind to win game two on Tuesday as the squad posted three unanswered runs combined in the fifth and sixth innings to propel UAH to the 3-2 win in game two.

Kinley Adams with a 3-for-4 performance that also featured one run scored.
