LANDER, S.C. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's lacrosse team opened Peach Belt Conference play on the road, dropping a Saturday afternoon contest by a 17-9 score to Lander. UAH drops to 7-4 (0-1 PBC) while the Bearcats improve to 7-3 (1-0 PBC).

Pete Fabrizio and
Ian Arnt both led the Charger offense with three goals apiece against LU and Fabrizio added an assist for a roster-best four total points on the day.

Brody Phillips,
Greyson Stevens, and
Paul Johnson each chipped in one goal to round out the goal scorers for Huntsville's Team. Phillips closes in on 100 career goals after scoring his 92
nd today.

Silas Herman scooped up a team-best six ground balls after going 11-for-19 in the faceoff circle. Fabrizio rated second for UAH collecting five ground balls.Â

Lander outshot the Chargers 50-33 and used an 8-1 advantage in second half goals to secure the victory.
