ROME, Ga. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's lacrosse team defeated Shorter on the road by a 19-5 score on Tuesday evening to remain undefeated in Gulf South Conference play. The Chargers improve to 8-7 (4-0 GSC) while SU moves to 2-12 (0-4 GSC).

Freshman
Sarah Cole had a career-high six goals from seven shots to lead the Charger offense against the Hawks. She now has 32 goals and four assists for a total of 36 points on the season which ranks fourth-best on the team.

Bryanna Hamblin,
Isadora Springer, and
Chloe Wood all registered hat tricks and Wood added two assists for good measure.

Katie Gerber matched Cole's six-point performance with two goals and four assists in the contest while
Abby Sprado and
Anastasia Lajoie rounded out the goal scorers for Huntsville's Team.

Cole picked up a team-best five ground balls while Wood and
Sara Pagotto each scooped up four which marked a season-high for Pagotto.

Shaina Doser played the entire 60 minutes in net for the Chargers making eight saves on the night. The senior goalkeeper's record improves to 4-4 with the victory.

UAH is back in action on Saturday to host Flagler at Charger Park for Senior Day at 4 p.m.
