HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville volleyball team's head coach Jon Moseley announced Allison Laatsch as assistant coach.

Laatsch joins the UAH volleyball coaching staff after serving as the assistant coach at Birmingham-Southern College. While in Birmingham, she also coached for Birmingham Volleyball Club.

Prior to Birmingham-Southern, Laatsch spent two years at Belhaven University, where she obtained her master's degree in Sports Administration in 2022. 

During her time at Belhaven, she also served as a head coach for Infinity Volleyball Club, in Jackson, Mississippi. 

Laatsch attended the University of Montevallo and was a member of the Falcons Women's Basketball team. She was named a Gulf South Conference Division II ADA Academic Achievement Honoree during her time with the Falcons.

During her time as a student athlete, she participated in a competitive volleyball league where she served time as the head coach. Laatsch graduated with her undergraduate degree in Business Marketing in 2020.
