Admission for Sunday's match – and to all regular season events at Charger Park – is free courtesy of Alabama Credit Union.

John Carrier is entering his sixth season at the helm of the Charger men's soccer program. UAH begins its season after a 3-9-4 record in 2022 in which they ended with a 3-2-2 record over the final seven games of the season.

The Chargers welcome back their top six players who saw the most action on the pitch during the 2022 season, highlighted by Jose Bannwart who led the team in minutes played with 1433.

The team also returns three of their top-five point getters from last season as Colby Nesbit, Michael Weston, and Andreas Tsimon will reprise their roles for UAH on the pitch. Nesbit and Weston each recorded five points during the past season, while Tsimon tallied four.

Thursday's slate begins a schedule that will see the Chargers host 10 matches during the 2023 season.

UAH holds a 1-3-2 all-time record against the Trojans, with their last matchup ending in a 2-0 loss.

Following the debut, the Chargers will travel to Americus, Georgia, to take on Georgia Southwestern on Sunday.
