HUNTSVILLE | The UAH women's soccer team was tripped up by visiting Nova Southeastern 3-2 at Charger Park on Friday evening. UAH slips to 2-1-0, while NSU improves to 2-0-1.

The Sharks would score early, with a goal in the third minute of action, but
Jayla Gillespie would latch onto a through ball from
Sarah Trotter to equalize in the 11
th minute.

Maja Henriksson would score her second of the game to put NSU back in front but UAH would once again level the score as Duda Jansen connected on a nice volley from outside the box for her first career collegiate goal.Â

The Sharks would go on to score two unanswered goals in the second half to create the 4-2 final score.

Ardis Haskell played the entire 90 minutes in goal for the Chargers making three saves in the contest. Her record moves to 2-1-0 on the season.

NSU fired seven shots on target and created one corner kick compared to the Chargers three shots on goal and four corner kicks.

The Blue & White will be back in action next Friday to begin Gulf South Conference play hosting two opponents in the Rocket City with a matchup against Shorter on Friday at 7 p.m. followed by a meeting with Lee on Sunday at 1 p.m.
