HUNTSVILLE | The UAH men's basketball team starts out the week at home on Monday at 5 p.m. against Auburn Montgomery for a Gulf South Conference matchup. This game was originally scheduled for Saturday, but was postponed by continued issues from last week's winter storm.

UAH begins the week's schedule with an 11-5 overall record and a 9-3 mark in GSC games this season, after most recently dropping last Saturday's matchup to West Florida at home. The Chargers remain amongst the GSC leaders, ranking second in the standings to start the week.

John Shulman's offense boasts 82.3 points per game to rank second in the GSC so far in 2023-24, as two Chargers rate amongst the top 10 in scoring average in the league this season.
Tommy Murr has catapulted to fourth in the GSC at 17.7 points per game, followed by
Luke Burnett in eighth with 16.3 points per game.

Murr has been strong offensively over the last three contests in particular, averaging 21.6 points per game in that span while shooting 54.7 percent from the field as well.

Jack Kostel has been the Chargers leading rebounder this season at a team-high average of 6.4 boards per game to rate 12th in the conference. He has accrued five or more rebounds in 10 consecutive games in addition to averaging 11.0 points per game in 2023-24.

Auburn Montgomery starts out the week with a 6-9 overall record and a 3-8 mark in GSC games, following a home loss to Montevallo last Saturday. The Warhawks average 74.2 points per game this season, led by Jalen Gaston at 14.5 points per contest.

UAH owns an all-time record of 23-21 against AUM, with the Chargers winning the most recent matchup earlier this season on Nov. 27 in Montgomery.

After Monday's home game, the Chargers hit the road to a pair of in-state foes including Montevallo on Wednesday and West Alabama on Saturday.
