CLEVELAND, Miss. | The UAH women's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw at Delta State on Friday afternoon in Gulf South Conference action. UAH's record now stands at 5-5-2 (4-2-2 GSC), while DSU moves to 2-3-5 (1-2-4 GSC).

UAH is now unbeaten in four straight road contests, as the Chargers now have 14 points in the GSC standings entering the final four games of the regular season.

The Chargers took a 1-0 deficit into halftime at the Statesmen on Friday, and UAH would hold that margin until
Carmen Endicott struck for her second goal of the season in the 86th minute to tie the contest late. Both sides went scoreless in the final four minutes as the squads played to a 1-1 tie.

Endicott is the fourth Charger this season to accrue multiple goals, as she notched her 19th career goal on Friday. She additionally tied for the team lead for shots on goal with
Maialen Mera with two shots on target apiece.

CeCe Szopa played the full time in goal for the Chargers, posting two saves in the tie. This is the ninth time Szopa and the UAH defense have allowed one goal or less in 2024.

UAH's defense on Friday was highlighted by 90-minute performances by
Emily Labus,
Campbell Tarentino and
Olivia Marlow. The squad aided Szopa in navigating six corner kick opportunities by Delta State.
