LIVINGSTON, Ala. | The UAH men's soccer team won its second straight game with a 3-2 victory at West Alabama on Friday night to wrap up the regular season road schedule. UAH improves to 3-7-3 (2-6-1 GSC), while UWA slides to 5-6-3 (3-5-2 GSC).

The Chargers went ahead quickly into Friday's matchup with a goal in the second minute by
Malek Elbendary as UAH took the one-goal advantage into the half. Elbendary scored his second of the season in the first-half strike.

West Alabama evened the contest in the 51st minute, before
Oli Orzechowski netted his team-leading eighth goal of the season at the 67:57 mark in the second half off an assist by
Kieran Rowe. Rowe leads the UAH with four assists in his senior campaign.

UWA again knotted the contest in the 84th minute, but UAH continued to show resilience with Donovan Pruitt sinking the game-winner in the 85th minute which propelled UAH to the 3-2 victory. Pruitt's goal was his first of the season.

Sonny Wright guided the UAH defense to the 3-2 win with six saves in goal over the full 90 minutes. He additionally navigated six corner kick opportunities by West Alabama.

UAH's offense generated seven shots on goal as a team, led by Orzechowski and Pruitte with two apiece.

The Chargers wrap up the 2024 regular season next Friday and Saturday at Charger Park with visits from Spring Hill and West Florida, respectively.
