LIVINGSTON, Ala. | The UAH volleyball team won a Tuesday evening Gulf South Conference match in Spragins Hall against West Alabama in a sweep, defeating the Tigers 3-0 (25-15, 25-23, 25-20).
The Chargers moved to 21-3 (12-2 GSC) with the sweep, while the Tigers fell to 1-22 (0-14 GSC).
Fourteen different Chargers saw action in Tuesday's match, with nine players recording a kill.
Autumn Mayes led the Chargers offensively with eight kills, while
Elizabeth Rayhle and
Mary Grace Bundrant contributed seven kills apiece.Â
Savannah Rutledge and
Kelsey Gasaway were both in double-digit assists, with Rutledge recording 17 and Gasaway putting up 10. Gasaway also converted four service aces to lead UAH in the category.Â
Hailey Holshouser had 12 digs to lead the Blue & White defensively, as
Kaila Sisk tallied five blocks total.
The Chargers are looking ahead to a rematch on Friday night against West Florida.
