Women's Basketball Falls in Exhibition at Jacksonville State

HUNTSVILLE | The UAH women's basketball team played its first exhibition game of the 2024-25 season on Tuesday at Division I Jacksonville State falling by a score of 67-51.
 
Lili Wilken led the Chargers with 11 points, shooting 3-of-9 from the field and a perfect 5-of-5 from the free-throw line. She played a team-high 39 minutes on Tuesday, while also adding five rebounds and a roster-leading four assists.
 
Haley Nichols delivered a strong all-around performance, posting a double-double with 10 points and a team-high 10 rebounds in 27 minutes on the floor. She went 3-for-5 from the field overall.
 
Shauna Fletcher additionally performed well at JSU with seven points and six rebounds, which rank second on the squad.
 
The Chargers look ahead to the start of the 2024-25 regular season next Friday and Saturday with the South Region Crossover hosted by Florida Southern. UAH takes on FSC to open the season next Friday at noon CT, followed by Rollins on Saturday morning at 9 a.m. CT.
