MONTGOMERY, Ala. | The UAH men's soccer team fell on the road at Auburn Montgomery on Friday night by a final score of 2-1 in Gulf South Conference action. UAH slides to 1-3-3 (0-2-1 GSC), while AUM rises to 5-0-3 (2-0-0 GSC).
 
The Chargers and Warhawks took a 1-1 tie into halftime thanks to 
Xavier Martin's game-tying goal in the 21st minute, but AUM pulled ahead in the 66th minute on the way to the hosts 2-1 win on Friday night.
 
Martin's goal was his second of the season, while 
Wesley Atoyebi and 
Tyson Balleza notch their first assists of 2024 on Martin's tally.
 
UAH registered five shots on goal against AUM, led by Martin with two shots on goal across 72 minutes on the pitch.
 
Ethan Haworth played the full time in goal for the Blue & White, accruing four saves and two goals allowed. He has notched four or more saves in all three of his games played this season.
 
Haworth was aided defensively by 90-minute efforts from 
Justin Alcantara, 
Harvey Hewson and 
Henry Mpagi Jr.
 
UAH wraps up the two-match road swing on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Montevallo.
