HUNTSVILLE | The UAH women's basketball team fell narrowly to crosstown rival Alabama A&M by a final score of 71-68 on Friday at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall in an exhibition matchup.

The Chargers offense featured four players with 10 points or more, led by
Lili Wilken's team-high 19 points as she went 7-for-10 from the field to go along with a roster-leading five assists. Wilken also boasted six rebounds and one steal across 36 minutes on the floor.

Mia Hollingsworth's 16-point night was guided by a 4-for-12 mark on three-pointers to rank second on the Chargers offense on Friday.

Haley Nichols nearly generated a double-double for the Blue & White with 10 points and a roster-best nine rebounds against the Bulldogs.
Millie Brown rounded out the Chargers scoring in double-figures on Friday with 14 points on the day.

Overall, UAH outrebounded Alabama A&M by a 35-28 margin while also outpacing the Bulldogs in second-chance points 14-7.

The Chargers now look ahead to the start of Gulf South Conference play next Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Trevecca Nazarene to continue the 2024-25 regular season.
